A rite of passage often meets unexpected resistance.

Sometimes your go through personal battles with feelings and thoughts. Some people become uncomfortable with disclosures of that kind and a few become alienated.

I am one that does what needs to be done with my life. I believe in fighting instead of running away. That response does not always provide for perfect solutions. As a matter of fact, I don't worry too much about perfect solutions anymore. Life is too short for perfection, so I stopped seeking it.

Beautiful days are always welcome; but storms are welcome too. I enjoy the wide range of emotions I experience in life. I can't please everyone in life. Some days friends and family let me know I fell short. I made this picture for them.
