Sherry and I were married on April 21, 1973. I was 23 and she was 18 at the time. We had a very small church wedding in a small Wisconsin town where we lived for a while afterwards.

Marriage is a very serious obligation and should never be taken lightly. We all know people who tried it with certain reservations and failed within a short period of time. Marriage takes a lot of effort, commitment, and sacrifice.

For those couples that remain married for extended periods of time, they know the value we have found by exchanging vows and remaining true to each other.
