The hottest part of the day is over now. The wide expansive plain is covered with tens of millions of animals.

Many species know to be near the tallest among them, for those tallest can see danger from the farthest away, and their reaction becomes the others.

This sentry stays alert and uses the tree to block the vision of predators seen far off in the direction being scanned. Night will soon fall, anxiety rises among the many herds, sleep if it comes, is restless.
