These two symbols of the Winter holiday season are appreciated by millions of people around the year. Some people refer to this season as Christmas whether with a religious perspective or not. Others refer to this time as Hanukkah. Still others may or may not celebrate other religious aspects of this time of year.

Whatever your views or beliefs, most people feel something special during December and that is what is important to me. Call it what you like, it's the spirit in your heart that shows itself when you smile as we meet and greet each other.

I live near a Poinsettia nursery that grows these plants for shipments all over the world. Here in Southern California, those plants are everywhere as an expression of humanity and happiness. May it be in your heart that way too.
