In many memories of her life she held warm feelings for those she cared about. Mostly though, that perspective pertained to the second half of her life and beyond.

The first half of her life was hard and challenging. The things she did to herself, to others, how she was treated or victimized, was a part of her life she was glad was over long ago.

The spring, summer, and fall seasons of her life she appreciated in her heart fully and expressed her thoughts and feelings openly. The remaining season, the winter of her heart, she hid as best she could. Only she and those that knew her in the first half of her life could understand why.
