Many events and circumstances can cause a person to be heart-broken. I can't think of any adult I know as a friend that has not experienced this emotion in some fashion.

There really aren't enough words to express the topic. And even though a picture is worth a thousand words, that's not always enough.

This is my attempt to interpret the way someone feels when their heart breaks. It's still doesn't do justice to the feeling I've felt when it happened to me.
