1893 World's Columbian Exposition Pictures, Page 1 -- 02/17/08

The Chicago Tribune Newspaper had an article about a virtual tour of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. After sending that notice around to members of my family, I received a number of scanned images from my cousin, Linda, who inherited the actual postcrd images shown in this two-page section of ths web site. She provided the images to me along with her written permission to publish them here.

My Great-Grandfather, Benjamin Depue Honeyman (1864-1941, shown below), worked on the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, IL.

He took his family, including his daughter, Edna Honeyman, (1888-1969, shown below) my Grandmother, who while alive possessed many of the Exposition's artifacts. I recall clearly many of those artifacts that she proudly displayed in her home.
