On October 24, 2003, I attended the Night of the Panther Party at the Grand Opening of the new San Diego UTC Apple store location with some of my friends from the San Diego Macintosh Users Group.

I arrived about 5:00 PM and was about the tenth person in line. I estimate about 300 to 400 people arrived after I was there. Many people brought their PowerBooks and iBooks and were using the Apple's AirPort wireless system to iChat AV with one another and upload digital camera pictures to the Internet live during the event.
