For Christmas Day 2009 we decided to drive down the coast on Highway 101, stopping occasionally along the way to watch the other people out enjoying the holiday. We saw a group of whales slowing making their way south beyond the waves.

We ate dinner during the sunset of a beautiful day at the luxurious Chart House right on the beach in Cardiff, California. Our waiters Glorianna and Dave took excellent care of us there.
