Update 12/15/07: In April 2007 we decided to repaint the downstairs to a light beige color and this time we hired professional painters to do the work. They completed the job in two days. It looks great!

After living in the San Marcos, California home for five years, we decided to paint the downstairs in southwestern colors to match the furniture decor there in early April, 2004.

Below are the before and after photographs of our work. It took us six days to wash, rinse, tape, prime, and then paint the walls to our satisfaction.
