On April 15, 2010 I participated in this Tax Day Tea Party Rally at the U.S. Post Office located in Escondido, California. The rally officially started at 5:00 PM and scheduled to last until 7:00 PM. I arrived at about 4:30 PM and half the people that showed up were already there by my rough estimate.

The lines eventually filled both sides of the street in front of the Post Office stretching to one block to either side of the building. A pretty good turn-out in my humble opinion.

I would say at least 100 drivers and their passengers in ther vehicles honked their horns and waved their hands in additional signs of support as they drove down Escondido Blvd.

Below are some of the pictures taken that day. As you'll notice, many of the signs are original Americana. I didn't witness any racisit signs or unruly behavior during my time there.
