Thoughts On The Passing Of Pope John Paul II
![]() Pope John Paul II was a great human being who, through his religious views and grace helped improve the world during his long lifetime. I liked him almost immediately when he became Pope back in 1979. He was an activist and went around the world to spread his views. He was a powerful force in world events. I'm not a Catholic, nor even a Christian, so some of his views I disagreed with on a philosophical level. However, Pope John Paul II impressed me with the wisdom he used to express his views and in that way, revealed the wonderful mind, heart, and soul comprising the man. I have prayed for Pope John Paul II while alive and now for his Spirit in his passing over to the other side. We will not forget Pope John Paul II's representing the goodness in all human beings. If God hasn't smiled upon we humans for a while, I hope God is smiling today as he welcomes home one of our finest. I created a Desktop to celebrate his life and Spirit. You may find it here. Don
