Our Granddaughter Comes To Visit

The above image is also available as a Desktop

Today's song is, At The Zoo, by Simon and Garfunkel, released in 1968.

Our granddaughter is here on her first trip to California. She flew first-class with her mother, arriving on Thursday. Our daughter tells us they were spoiled the entire trip by several of the women on the jet. We took over spoiling them since they got here. :-)

Sherry and I are enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with our granddaughter again. We last saw her in early December. Now at six-months old, she's so much fun and has a beautiful smile and giggle. We love her.

Yesterday we all went to the San Diego Zoo for most of the day. I pushed the stroller around and watched our granddaughter as the others shopped. We laughed togther at times. I held her close to me on my shoulder as she started to fall asleep in the afternoon. It was cool!

Today my wife Sherry, DJ, Jenny, and our granddaughter went up to Temecula to visit my cousin's daughter who has a two-year old daughter. The warm sunny day is perfect for them. As I type this, it's 84 degrees and the breezes are blowing through the house.

They will be here until the middle of the week. They are getting a nice respite from the very cold weather in the Chicago area.

While I've been looking into cool new uses of Internet technologies, I found this article.

For those looking for a place to live, here's a cool mashup for Google Maps.

I see that Woz is still having fun with deployed technology before that technology is fully thought-out...

I wonder what Woz would do with a Quantum Computer?

My friend and mentor, Gene Weed, published a video about Sedona, Arizona on YouTube. I added it to my YouTube listings page.
