My good friend and mentor, Gene Weed, has released a free Quicktime short-film of the Fourth of July 2006 Fireworks in Cottonwood, Arizona. Gene plays his sax and adds a short portion of my song, "America".

I'm scheduled to be interviewed this morning by a crew working on a television special partially about my ancestor, John Honeyman. They contacted me earlier this week after finding me on the Internet.

Yesterday, I returned the picture Wendy gave me last week. She really likes the new Deer Woman Moon Encounter image. While I was talking with her, another friend of hers arrived, Kiren, and we chatted a bit about Wendy's new notoriety. ;-)

Amazon.com recently expanded their services for their Simple Storage Service (S3) servers to allow Virtual Hosting of Buckets. The service already provides BitTorrent protocols as part of the basic package.

This looks like a cool device for making some quick friends when you are out and about. The Kyocera KR1 Mobile EV-DO Router should be in everyone's backpack or briefcase who uses the EV-DO service.
