This past week was the start of a creative spurt in me. Coinciding with the arrival of Summer, I published a new ScreenSaver-like file for MacOS 10.4 called, Time Out Of Mind Particles. I used Apple's Quartz Composer as the development application; an application that requires no programming to create stunning graphic effects. I announced that creation last Tuesday evening at about 7:00 PM and it was downloaded nearly 1,000 times by Thursday morning! I commented about the experience on this podcast. This was also a week when Sherry opened her new massage studio for business and started gaining customers. She's going to take some pictures and let me publish them here soon.

Yesterday, the Twin Oaks Toastmasters held a Summer Party at Cy and Maria Dolores Chadley's sprawling estate in nearby Escondido. Many members and their families attended the pot-luck event. We enjoyed each other's company and food. Some members where lucky in the raffle we held. Most stayed for several hours on a beautiful day and we chatted about various topics.

Around the beginning of July, I will be in a position to publish the recent volunteer digital video I created for the City of Carlsbad. That was a fun project and I'll have a lengthy page about it then.

On July 3rd it will be exactly one year that I started this home page format here on Time Out Of Mind. Many people have read the frequent updates and some wrote me their thoughts too. I won't be taking a break this Summer as did last Summer. I have some new ideas to consider and the incorporation of some old ideas in this space from time-to-time until Autumn arrives.

As Time Out Of Mind moves closer to the Million Page View Milestone, the good times continue to the beat of the music.
