I recently had an opportunity to get to know a friend of mine more deeply than previous opportunities allowed. It is always a refreshing experience for me to come away from those get-togethers with a new perspective.

Moments with friends that reveal a strong connection between us, enable greater understanding of them and ourselves. At once we share a truth that was previously absent.

I've been fortunate to have had many such moments in my life. Hopefully there will be many more...
