Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday season for me. It lasts until New Year's Day. This first holiday is a time to remember and give thanks. I remember the people who have been important in my life, who helped put me on this path to where I am today. If I touched you in life or if you touched me, I remember and appreciate those times past. Today I give thanks to those in my life who help make it worth living every day of the year.

This year, our daughter, her husband, and our two grandkids are arriving to celebrate the kickoff to the holidays season with us. The house is already richly decorated for the Christmas season. We can't wait for them to arrive!

I wish all who celebrate Thanksgiving to have a wonderful day. We sure will in our household.
