Today's song is End Of The World by Skeeter Davis, released in 1963.

I do not believe the end of the world is at hand when this scientific experiment is started. Some of the best scientific minds in the world have worked on the project and they think it's safe. Some other people unconnected with the project seem to be letting their fear of the unknown sway them.

Every once in a while, a group of people starts claiming the end of the world is near or at hand. If it isn't religious zealots making the claim, it's people who seemingly show little faith in anything proclaiming the end.

I'll see you all on the other side of this experiment. :-)
