Licensing My Art
![]() Today's song is Every Breath You Take by The Police, released in 1983. Today one of my readers alerted me to the fact that a band was using my art without my permission on their advertising. I took immediate action to halt that activity. It isn't the first time, nor unfortunately, not the last time, that I will need to protect my rights. I know piracy is rampant, but that doesn't excuse someone using my art work without my written permission. Most people are mature enough and respect another person's work and intellectual property, but some lack that maturity. If you want to use my art of other works, write me and explain your situation first and seek my permission. Both of us will appreciate that approach. :-)
Apple sold its 1 millionth iPhone this week. Maybe Sherry and I will each acquire one after the next version release?
Another five years of restraint for Microsoft? You won't get any argument against that from me. :-) Don
