What Was Old Is New Again
![]() Today's song is Autumn Of My Life, by Bobby Goldsboro, released in 1968. Ten tears ago I created the above image to show the closing of a thousand autumns in the same number of years. Nearly the last one-sixth of my life has occurred since I created that image. This current autumn is the last one for this first decade of the new century, new millennium. I wrote about my feelings towards Autumn back in September 21, 2004. I still enjoy reading Injun Summer, by Joe McCutcheon, a habit from my youth in Chicago. This year new business opportunities are increasing and hopefully next year the economy will be close to returning to full-swing. Each up and down turn of the economy has lessons to offer. The economic cycles don't frequent our nation as often as the four seasons do, they have their own periods, bringing an end to old ways and awakening the new.
This looks very promising.
