When You Are Near -- 06/15/07

Proximity to you is stirring. Words pale in comparison. Thoughts rapidly fall behind one another. My feelings held in the balance are overwhelming.

You come near and whatever is missing in my life--is found. How do you do this? What is it that draws me so strongly to you?

Do you know how it is with me? Is it the same in you?

Two drops of water merge into one from the stream of life. In a split-second no trace remains of their former singularities--they are now inseparable.

When you are near, I am one of those drops, you are the other.
